ReplyDeleteThat one line to the left of squibs, did it go? I was scoping out one that would utilize a hold on the arete to start and move through underclings to what was shown in the video.
ReplyDeleteIn typical Jut fashion, I punted the boulder problem one move from the end numerous times. We were contemplating starting a touch lower as you are describing but the move off of the undercling as shown in the video proved to be much harder and more fun. The line would have went if we traversed into the top sequence of Squibs....maybe V5ish, but we were trying to stay on the left arete for the topout...felt V6/V7, did all of the moves just didn't link it from the sit start.
ReplyDeleteI think that line would fall in the 7 range - first move is 5ish while the the crux is certainly a bit harder. A nice little line
